In the spirit of yesterdays post of the new Wes Anderson Film I am going to dedicate the rest of this blog entry to films that I am looking forward to. I know this may not be exciting for you because 1. i still have not formally introduced myself to you, anonymous reader 2. i have yet to really tap the core essence that is me and 3. you could hate all of these movies that i suggest here. if you were my mom for example, you would make it a point not to see these movies. but i assure that we will get to know each other, you will begin to fall in love with me, as if i was your favorite pair of jeans or childhood teddy bear. and maybe after a while we can cuddle together, and when thats over you can make me some mac and cheese.
Without a doubt the Wes Anderson film is #1, debuting at the New York Film Festival Friday September 28th. link is below
David Wain's the Ten with a whole bunch of people. August 3rd
the dudes from 40 Year Old Virgin- Superbad. This will be the best movie over the summer. I am McLovin. August 17th
Noah Baumbach's Margot at the Wedding. I loved the Squid and the Whale, and this stars Jack Black and Nicole Kidman along with one of my favorite actors, John Turturro. October 12th.
Finally this has no release date. Laura Linney and Philip Seymour Hoffman are brother and sister taking care of their dying father. I also love both of these actors.
i've had the Flight of the Conchords David Bowie song in my head since Sunday
